3rd Year of Teaching Starts Tomorrow!

Well, tomorrow begins the 2010-2011 school year. Its my third year! I cant believe that I am already to the 3rd year. Time sure has flown by. I feel like I just started teaching. Crazy!

My desk area- I painted the pillar. It used to be white.

I haven't felt nervous till just now when I began writing this!

I painted one of my classroom walls this past week with my friend Liz K. I will be sure to post pictures later. Lots of orange and black!
( This is not what I painted, it's just a star from the front of the school.)

This one is mine!

The week of course had to start out badly. We finally got our A/C in the house working, and the temps outside drop by about 20 degrees, gosh! Then the same day the A/C is fixed the garage door breaks. My car was fortunately out of the garage. Shanna's car was still parked in the garage so at 8pm her parents drove down from North Las Vegas to save her car. The door was so heavy that it took all four of us to get it up off the ground! Hopefully they can get that fixed tomorrow.

Well if I am going to get up and meet all those hoodlums I better get some sleep. Night!

Hi ho! Hi ho! Off to Rexburg we go Part 2

After visiting all of the old apartments Amy and I went to St. Anthony to Hilary & I's favorite spot. We lounged in the sun, dangled our feet in the rushing cool water. It was so nice.

For dinner we went to Craigo's! They have changed the breadsticks, but the pizza was still ok.

Hi ho! Hi ho! Off to Rexburg we go! part 1

Amy and I decided that we needed one more road trip before I left Utah and headed back to Nevada. We decided that Rexburg was the perfect place! Yay!!! We booked a hotel and took off! We stayed at the AmericInn. It was fabulous!
The next morning we had a great Continental breakfast and then took off to visit our old college stomping ground.

We visited the Rexburg temple first. It was the first time Amy had been to see it and it was very cool. Afterwards we walked around the campus of BYU-Idaho. There were EFY kids all over the place, but it was still fun to walk around and see everything. Especially the Ricks Building. They have changed the gardens since I was there three years ago. There were some very pretty additions!I of course had to take picture in the engagement spot! That ones for you Krystal!

Taylor Building!

One of the biggest changes that BYU-I has had is the expansion and renovation of the MC. Holy Cow things have changed! All those cold walks between the MC and the library are over! These incoming freshman are going to be so spoiled! Check out this connection! Also, the chairs in the library are new and super comfortable. Amy and I had to try them out!

While in the Kirkham, we checked out the double toilet stall and they had made it normal! so sad!

For lunch we met up with Danny & Anna Allen and met their two adorable kids Lilly and Beckett. We ate at Arctic Circle so that Lilly could play on the toys while we ate.

After lunch we drove over to Campus and took pictures infront of all of our our old apartments.

BBQ at Jeff's house

The day the Stout family reunion ended our little grouping of the family (the ones that could stay) drove over to Jeffs house in Providence UT and had a little BBQ. It was so much fun to spend some time one-on-one with all of them. Here are some of the favorite pictures that I took that day.
